Tamale Development Trust (TDT) is a registered, independent, women-led grant-making charity organization with open membership, officially incorporated in December 2022 under Registration No. CG082201122 and TIN C0062358596. We began active operations in July 2023 and are committed to transforming lives in Tamale, with a strong focus on supporting women and children.
We believe that Kindness Sparkles Greatness, and our mission is rooted in empowering local communities through resource mobilization, philanthropy, and inclusive development. TDT amplifies the voice, capacity, and leadership of women across Tamale by connecting local donors, professionals, businesses, and volunteers with causes that matter.
TDT is governed by a six-member Board of Directors, all women. The board includes seasoned professionals in finance, insurance, development, and human resources, alongside a young woman representing the youth of Tamale. Day-to-day operations are managed by a female-led administrative team under the leadership of our Coordinator.
